We commit to using locally and sustainably sourced products and local suppliers wherever possible. The impact of transportation and the carbon footprint of products will also be calculated.
One of our primary focuses for our event is economically supporting the local industry. By working in collaboration with local suppliers and producers, we will aim to prioritise those who employ in this area as well as calculate the benefits the event can bring to the area.
Our goal is to have a positive footprint; to reduce environmental impact associated with the event, to add value to the local area where possible and create new opportunities for people living nearby.
Who We Work With To Make This Happen
We work alongside BUNZL Catering and Hospitality Division to create the most sustainable offering. We have worked together on other festivals and events to create a ‘Closed Loop Solution’ specific for festivals and outdoor events, controlling what it is used for and in turn how this is then disposed of.
